Steering Gearbox

This steering gearbox is made from TRW template. These boxes contain NOS steel caged FAG bearings and upgraded seals. These are an upgrade to the standard type of bearings and seals that TRW was using. The NOS FAG bearings are steel caged and have more ball bearings. Greased with John Deere Corn head NGLI grade 0. Does not fit Super Beetle.

Add all of the items and a discount will be applied after your last selection. This kit includes everything to rebuild your Genuine VW or TRW steering gearbox. The kit includes: roller, worm, top cover, steel backed NOS FAG bearings, seals, shims, grease, plug, and gasket. This is for Type 3 and Type 1 steering gearbox. These will not fit a Super Beetle.

This is a rebuild kit for an early type 1. It includes two NOS FAG German bearings, worm seal, roller seal, and shim (0.3MM).
